After an application of POR-15 rust converter, and some JB Weld to fill some suspicious looking "maybe holes," I slathered on an entire tube of elastomeric roofing sealant. It'll dry hard but flexible within a day, and acid water will never touch metal again. Oh yeah, and I left all the water drains unplugged.
